These FG polishing stones use aluminum oxide abrasive, which finishes by micro-cutting the surface rather than tearing it. As the stone rotates, the abrasive particles create controlled, shallow scratches that reduce surface roughness (Ra)—smoothing peaks and blending margins. A coarser grit (green) removes irregularities and shapes more efficiently, while a finer grit (white) refines the surface after contouring, leaving a more polish-ready finish.
Designed for finishing on enamel, composites, compomers, and porcelain, with an FG 1.6 mm friction grip that fits high-speed handpieces and friction-grip low-speed contra-angle heads. Autoclavable up to 135°C.
